Fortnite Galactus Nexus War Event Breaks Player Records
As far as traveling across gaming universes, this won't be Kratos' first rodeo. Across several generations, the titular God of War has been PlayStation 's go-to guest character in several franchises, as he's proven to be rather flexible for cross-promotion purposes. In fighting games, the Ghost of Sparta has taken up arms in both 2011's Mortal Kombat on PS3 and the PSP-exclusive Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny . He battled as a secret boss in Shovel Knight , served as a pre-order bonus for ModNation Racers , and even hit the links in Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds . Perhaps most importantly, he was one of the many characters to battle in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale , so he's got plenty of non- God of War experience heading into Fortni
Halo fans have been anxiously awaiting the return of the Master Chief in the upcoming Halo Infinite , which has been the victim of a massive delay since its gameplay reveal earlier this year. However, the potential inclusion of the Master Chief may give enthusiasts the time they’ve been craving with the pedagogical hero, as series fans have been wanting a battle royale mode in Microsoft’s flagship franchise for some time. If the mode is not going to be implemented in a Halo game itself, there is no better place for it than Fortn
These streamers have had plenty of reason to be cautious recently, though. Twitch has not been a safe place for content creators recently due to an unprecedented amount of DMCA copyright strikes that the website is clearly not equipped to deal with. These legal attacks have led to a massive " DMCA bloodbath " as streamers see their content deleted en masse with little to no warning or hope for recourse. Not even partnered streamers are safe; the website has been banning some of them over their sound effect usage in a desperate attempt to escape legal repercussions. The most minor of sound effects can incur the wrath of the DMCA; players have faced strikes for innocuous in-game sound effects like birds chirping and clocks tick

This is not the first time that Thanos has invaded the world of Fortnite challenges|Https://fortnitemix.com/ . Back in 2018, as part of a larger crossover with Marvel to promote the release of Avengers: Infinity War , Epic Games also introduced a new game mode to Fortnite called, simply, Infinity War . In this mode, Thanos's famous Infinity Gauntlet is hidden somewhere on the map. The player who finds the Gauntlet would receive several powerups including massive health bars and shields, gaining back shields when he gets a kill, and a unique set of special attacks to punch, jump, and shoot better than any other player. At the very least, this version of Thanos appeared to be easier to contain than the version the Avengers had to contend with. However, with his return, it seems Thanos has only gotten more power
The final event of Chapter 2 Season 5 in Fortnite saw millions of players trying to defend Battle Island against the threat of Galactus. Thanks to Iron Man’s inventive mind, players were armed with modified Battle Buses, which were used to attack the World Eater and send him to a different dimension. According to Epic Games, the final event was so popular that it set a new record in online numbers. 15.3 million concurrent players joined forces to take down Galactus, while 3.4 million more were watching the event on YouTube and Twi
Lachlan's video is far from disappointing though, as he attempts to complete an unofficial "Rainbow Infinity Gauntlet Challenge" wherein the player gets a gun of each rarity (excluding gray). When completed across the toolbar, along with a red pickaxe like Captain America's shield (there is no red-tier gun), the rainbow formed on the toolbar looks like the stones in the Infinity Gauntlet. If Fortnite wanted to have some fun with this concept, it would be interesting to see a mode or challenge where if a player gets a kill the stone of that gun's tier is "activated" and once all six are activated, the player actually could snap away half the lobby. While this might be extremely overpowered, it would at least be more difficult to achieve than simply using a snap emote with a Thanos s
